What We Do
Workshops
2nd-6th grade & 6th-12th grade
Kids rehearse once a week to prepare for a musical! They learn theatrical skills and everyone gets a chance to shine. Workshops are appropriate for all levels of experience. The goal is for children to obtain musical theater training while rehearsing for a show. The "process" - especially teamwork and self-esteem - is stressed as much as the "product" - a performance for family and friends.
Summer Intensives
2nd-9th grade
Kids learn an entire show in one week! Just like our regular workshop program, every performer will be featured including dialogue and solos. Performers meet daily for a fun-filled schedule of rehearsals, theater games, and skill building activities.
Private Voice Lessons (Marin Only)
Ages 7-18

"The Embodied Singer
Have you ever seen someone perform to the tips of their fingers? Where their voice sounds like it's directly connected to their heart? The most powerful performers connect their body, mind, and heart together to tell stories through music. Every voice is unique, and as a teacher, my goal is to help my students discover the colors that make their voice special, to give them access to those colors, and add new shades to their palate.
Students will develop a 3-step at-home routine using mindfulness, body work, and vocal warmups to make singing a part of daily life, and empower them to make strides on their own. Exploration and play are incredibly important as an artist, so we will experiment with many genres of music, and develop the tools to be successful in whatever outlet they are looking to pursue. Whether it's audition technique, music theory, or creating their own music, I love to follow my students where their inspirations lead, and give them the practical knowledge to realize their dreams. Regardless of age or experience level, students will walk away feeling more joy, connection, and strength in their voice."
